Exhibition History
Relational aesthetics is a concept that refers to art that focuses on human relations and social interaction. Ride1 creates works that emphasize the anarchistic side of relational aesthetics. The group often works with ambiguity and disharmonious elements, here in the form of a reinterpretation of scenes from the film Jaws from 1975. The recreated film sequences are shown side by side with the original scenes, leading to a kind of positional shifts – displacements that create clarity while also causing confusion.
