Annika von Hausswolff works in the tension field of staged and documentary photography. Her images leave the viewer with ambiguous answers and visual clues to a previous sequence of events. It may be fearful scenes of violence and oppression, as well as poetic recollections of human existence through everyday objects, as in Domestic Sculpture.
