Tuija Lindström is a Finnish photographer and artist, who has lived and worked in Sweden for a long time. In 1992–2002 she was Professor of Photography at the School of Photography in Gothenburg. During her tenure, the school’s orientation changed towards a more theoretical approach with courses in, for example, feminist theory. Tuija Lindström is represented in, among others, the Gothenburg Museum of Art; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; Houston Art Museum, USA; Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki; and a number of international institutions.
